To commemorate the 1st anniversary of the death of Rock Idol David Bowie, we are excited to announce our exhibition of paintings and sculptures about and depicting the great man. Talented fans of David Bowie have submitted pieces of original art for selection. The 'PinUps of Bowie, Sound and Vision Art Exhibition' is being held in the Dome Exhibition Space, top floor of St. Stephens Green Centre. The exhibition opened on Jan 4th and will run throughout to March 31st.
Admission is by contributions/donation at entrance as this exhibit is run by volunteers and is non profit(most people contribute between 2 and 5 euro).
Most of the works are for sale.
"David Bowie has touched so many of us through his music and visual exploits throughout 5 decades and is the most imaginative and most creative superstar ever to appear on record and stage.
Bowie’s music is being played throughout the exhibition so the exhibit has an exciting and atmospheric cutting edge to it as you stroll and sing and dance around!
