Patrick Robinson Muldowney
Patrick is a naive painter. The grandson of legendary artist Markey Robinson, he takes great pride in following in his grand father's footsteps.
His child like naive style differs somewhat from Markey's primitive representational style. However, evident are the large gable ends of thatched cottages and small groups of workers and sometimes shawlies(Islander women wearing shawls) that were apparent through Markey's work.
Patrick's painting do have a certain charm as they are heavily embossed and very colourful. His compositions take the viewer back through time to a rural and different innocent world in bygone days.
