In this work Kovelinas creates an intresting relationship between the subject and the space around her by blending their forms trough the use of patterns and light, beingh able to give the woman's skin the same texture and feel as the leather sofa whit his use of highlight. The sriped pattern then fades into the softer look of skin to then bring the viewer to the amused, inquisitive gaze of the woman.
